I have a friend. I have known him for a very long time and he has always been a friend. Even when I sometimes was not…
My friend is in jail. His daughter has accused him of some vile crimes. I am astounded by the severity of these accusations. I cannot believe them. He is my friend. I’ve known him for a long time. There are many things I could believe he might do. The charges he is facing are not anywhere on that list. He did not do them.
My friend has helped me many times during my life. He is one of the last good guys. Now he is in jail, waiting for months to go to trial while the prosecutors file more and more charges against him. I am amazed that he withstands it. My friend, he writes me letters, he sends me things he would like to say. I post them on the Internet for him. I do what I can to help my friend.
This site is where I put the things he wants to say to the world. This is all real. This is what happens when an innocent man is accused of crimes that even hardened criminals look down on. This is what is happening to my friend. This is his life. It could be mine. It could be yours. It is my friends.
I hope these things, and this place, help my friend. I hope they help you. I hope they open your eyes to what life can do to you, or anyone, at any time. Without warning. Without warmth. Without answers. This is not justice. This is life. The life of my friend. It could be your friend. It could be you.
It has opened my eyes.
