Yeah, I threw away the second post from today (Actually I didn’t…)

Today Sneers tried to instigate something ‘tween Red and me.  Red is rabidly racist, and prior to Red wandering into our little slice of Heaven, Sneers heard and remembered me say that I hate racism.  Dropping this tidbit caused Red to reevaluate our relationship…I don’t believe he’s going to ask me to the prom.

Anyway, after explaining that racism has no basis in biological or scientific fact…that we are all one race, one species, caused him to state that he only objects to the “mixing of the races” as it were because God would have made us all one color if he’d wanted us to mix.  Says so in the Bible apparently.  Anyway, after bringing up some issues with that theory he tosses out that racial purity crap again with some comments about breeding mutts.  I didn’t point out the fact that inbreeding in “pure” lines causes terrible things to happen, or any of the hundred other things…nope, I just went with the tried and true “fight ignorant emotive arguments with ignorant emotive arguments” and ended it with “But the best dogs in the world are mutts.”  Neener.

Sneers was terribly disappointed, but he did get Red to fire off a few dozen racist jokes.  Hooray!
